Too scared. Friend just had it done. Her vision was pretty clear same day although the whites of her eyes were red for 2 weeks and she had to use eye drops as prescribed. When she totally healed, her vision was almost perfect!!

i had mine done about 12 yrs ago, and then they only did one at a time. The 1st one was done 1 week then i had to survive a week with only one eye before they would do the other eye. They do them both together now.They recommended that you took a lens out of your glasses and wore them like that but your vision is too much different out of glasses and made me feel sick! The 1st one was brilliant straight away and i could read peoples number plates on the way home, but when i had the 2nd one i blinked as he was trying to smooth the eye over afterwards (even with the clamp on). I don’t know whether it was because the numbing stuff was wearing off but i had an uncontrollable urge to blink and must of turned my eye lids virtually inside out to do it but the front of my eye slid down like wall paper. It was very painful and they left it til the next day when i went back they did it again. My eyes are still very good. I don’t think the 2nd eye has ever been as good as the 1st but i’m still very happy with them. My eyes were both -7 and my glasses were like milk bottles and now i don’t need glasses at all! I find that i get quite a lot of glare with night time driving but i think you get used to it.
Also bear in mind that 12 yrs ago when i had mine done lasik was a fairly new treatment and things have improved massively since then. My brother and my sister had theirs done and are happy too. My mum wanted hers done but unfortunately they found that she had glaucoma and can’t have it done. Good luck

I had PRK a few years ago. I’m very pleased and the result has been flawless. My eyes did hurt for a week each after they were done.

Yes, by the same people that did "Tiger" Wood’s eyes. You want someone very competent. It is your eyes.

I haven’t and have no desire to.My mom has and if others want to,that’s fine,but as for myself,I just don’t feel like my eyes are bad enough to need such a procedure and I like the way I look with glasses,they are a part of who I am and what I look like and parting with them would be way too hard.
