I have no idea, but you could ask them for referances and aslo ask your BBB if they have had any complaints, also check out the liscsenses of the doctors there. You can read about what questions to ask and how to check a place out with a best selling book by premier lasik surgeon Dr. Robert maloney. He has great ideas and great references to lasik surgeons all over the US Check it out (I am not an employee of his at all!)

    Anyway…

    LASIK is a very brief procedure. If everything goes well, it should be done in 15 minutes or less.

    It’s usually done while the patient is awake. Topical (eye drops) anesthesia is used. Its not that uncomfortable to the patient.

    I personally only know one child who had this defect. While I have temporarily lost contact with the family (military family, moved), he still had not needed to have surgery and he had just had his 3rd birthday.
